Bimini, Bahamas… I’m somewhat at a loss for words! This island is absolutely beautiful, unique & off the beat & path! The locals are so nice and are ready to show you a good time! BahamasAir is a different story but I will try not to hold it against them!
The island is very small with a north & south end. Most people get around by golf cart, boat or sea plane. You have to catch a ferry to/from each end as they are separated by water!! The tiny airport is located at the south end & the Resort World Bimini by Hilton where we stayed is located on the north. I had no complaints regarding the resort but some of my girlfriends would beg to differ! In all, the resort is lovely with excellent food, attentive staff & my favorite amenity (casino) which paid me well!
In addition to the resort which houses a ferry & sea port, there are multiple restaurants, rooftop pool & bar, lazy river & arcade for the kids; we mostly enjoyed going in town partying & enjoying the local beaches & table top bars & store front fresh food vendors directly off the beach!
While in Bimini for my cousins 40th birthday of course we made time for a mini photo shoot, lots of laughs, cleansing cry’s and even spread our moms ashes in the ocean!
In all, especially for only $290 which was a gift to us all; we had such a great time!
As always, thank you for traveling along!

What a fun family girls trip. Love the matching suits and on vacay hats. What a neat photo you captured. I haven’t been to the Bahamas since the late 90’s with my traveling dance group. I think it’s time I head back!
Wow! What an awesome way to spend a birthday! You girls know how to do it right. Love the photo shoot photos, especially the one with the hats! How did you get the trip for $290!? Z-package?
