When I say Chicago owes us nothing, I mean just that! We ventured 2.5 hours north to Chicago this weekend for Beyonce & JayZ’s #OnTheRunII concert and it was everything!! They put on a show complete with songs, dancing, a band, choir, videos & amazing chemistry for well over 2 hours! The weather was perfect with a breeze & myself, my bff & our daughters completely enjoyed the evening! It was well past their bedtime so they hung as long as they possibly could! This was my 7th Beyonce concert & as usual she did not disappoint!
The concert happened to fall on my husbands birthday so of course we had to celebrate him & all the reasons why we love and appreciate him! We spent the day shopping on the Magnificent Mile, rode the water taxi to the Navy Pier and ate Frankie’s Pizza for lunch! We also checked out The Happy Place and dinner at The Grand Luxe!
