Back in Mexico for the 6th time, the Cancun area for the 4th! Idk if it’s b/c I’m travel deprived or what but it’s much more beautiful than I remembered! The water is clear, the sand is soft & the vibe is amazing!

Thursday I booked a flight & by Saturday at 10am I was in Cancun! Flying during COVID was chill! The airports are empty, the middle seat is open, you board back to front and you receive a ziplock with snacks & water. In the airport you must wear a mask & every other seat is to be empty!

Once arriving your temperature is taken upon entering the resort & walking into any restaurants or shops! Your photo is also taken, I’m assuming incase they have to report you or make you quarantine or leave.

During the day we chilled by the pool & at the beach! Attempting to social distance, even when outside people stayed in their own little groups and wore mask while walking to the pool, bar or restaurant.

For dinner we dined at Fred’s & Harry’s! Both had cool vibes with big lights, ocean front & good food but Harry’s took the cake!! Harry’s was so nice we went twice! The menu’s are only available on your cell phone via QR code which was neat b/c it didn’t require a separate app.

Other than dining out & getting massages at Stones Day Spa we pretty much chilled at the resort soaking up the sun!! It was a great mini (4 days/3 nights) getaway before heading back to work & the local reality of COVID19!

As always, thanks for traveling along!
