Once upon a time in Mexico… Per usual it was an amazing time! Celebrated my bff’s 40th birthday with cold drinks by the beach! This was sort of my first trip of the year and I was so excited to try new things. I was in town for a good time not a long time and I definitely used that to my advantage.
We stayed at the Riu Santa Fe. This was my third stay at a Riu Resort and as usual I have mixed reviews. I enjoyed the grounds of the resort, it was extremely beautiful & clean!! Not so much the food or that it is a five-star resort but they are not very accommodating, nor is there any room service!
For dinner we dined at Lorenzillo’s which was an excellent seafood rooftop restaurant in Downtown Cabo San Lucas with heaters & poncho style blankets so you can enjoy the view of the marina in comfort. I indulged in the crab cakes, asparagus & baked potato loaded with their special butter & of course dessert is a must while on vacay!
For the thrill of it we took a glass bottom boat ride to the arches and even enjoyed a sunset camel ride along the beach. It was also whale watching season so we were able to see many whales putting on fabulous shows arching and spouting. In a the back of a cute shopping area called Hacienda Tequila we enjoyed a snippet of how tequila is made and some tastings of tequila & flavored liquors.
Hacienda Tequila
Another weekend filled with memories & experiences that I will cherish!!
Thanks for traveling along,
XoXo
